Finley Kearn’s Eagle Court of Honor - Sunday, October 25th at 1 pm
Everyone is invited to join us as we celebrate a tremendous achievement!
After years of hard work, leadership, service, and dedication, Finley Kearns has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in Scouting. Please come honor Finley’s accomplishment at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
The ceremony will celebrate Finley’s Scouting journey, highlight his Eagle Scout project, and recognize the family, friends, and mentors who supported him along the way. A reception will follow the ceremony.
Come help us congratulate Finley on achieving this remarkable milestone — a testament to his character, leadership, and service to the community.

Night at the Flyers - Sunday, November 1st (4PM Game)
This is for a lower level seat in Section 118 to the Flyers game vs. the Edmonton Oilers.
Cost: $77 per person
Includes: Lower level seat
We will sit together as a troop. We will try to arrange car pools, depending on how many people sign up.
Friends and Family are invited as well!
Thanksgiving Camping Trip, November 13 - 15
This is our annual Thanksgiving Camping trip. Patrols will cook Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday night, each patrol will be responsible for a side dish and a dessert. Leaders will provide the Turkeys. In addition to cooking dinner on Saturday, scouts will be able to shoot shotguns and rifles at the ranges and work on the astronomy merit badge (weather permitting)
Location: Ockanickon Scout reservation. We have rented a cabin, so Scouts will have the option of sleeping in the heated cabin, or in tents.
Departure time: 6 pm on Friday from the Scout Cabin
Approx. Return time: 11 am on Sunday back to the Scout Cabin
Uniform: Class A's for travel, Class B's for the day
Cost: $25 (includes site rental, dinner on Saturday and shooting costs)
Bring: Warm Clothes (jacket, hat, gloves). Appropriate Footwear, Scoutbook, pocket knife, camping gear.

Annual Game Night at the Cabin - Friday, December 11 - Saturday, December 12
Get ready for one of the most popular troop events of the year! Bring your favorite video games, consoles, laptops, handheld devices, and board games for an overnight gaming marathon at the Scout Cabin.
We'll spend the evening competing, teaming up, and having fun with fellow Scouts. Pizza, snacks, drinks, and breakfast are all included in the cost, so just bring your gaming gear, sleeping bag, and Scout spirit!
Arrive: Friday at 8:30 PM
Pick Up: Saturday at 8:30 AM
Cost: $10 per Scout
We usually get 20+ participants, so we need a few parent volunteers to make this event happen.
2 overnight chaperones (stay the entire night at the cabin; no event fee required)
1 volunteer to pick up and deliver pizza to the cabin Friday evening at 8:30 PM (pizza will be prepaid)
1 volunteer to provide breakfast (donuts, bagels, etc.) and deliver it to the cabin at 7:00 AM Saturday morning (reimbursement available; submit receipts to Chris Siegler)

Cameron Dustin’s Eagle Court of Honor – Sunday, January 10 at 1:00 PM
Come celebrate with us as Cameron Dustin joins the ranks of Eagle Scouts! Earning the rank of Eagle Scout takes years of hard work, leadership, service, camping trips, and dedication. Cameron has put in that effort, and now it's time to celebrate this incredible accomplishment with family, friends and fellow Scouts. Please join us for Cameron’s Eagle Court of Honor, where we'll reflect on his Scouting journey, recognize his achievements, and hear about the Eagle Scout project that helped earn him Scouting’s highest rank. We'll also take a moment to thank the family, leaders, and friends who helped him along the way. We hope you can join us as we recognize Cameron and congratulate him on reaching this important milestone.

Troop Ski Trip @ Jack Frost/Big Boulder, January 22–24, 2027
We will be skiing at Jack Frost and Big Boulder on Saturday, January 23rd.
Each scout and adult will need to purchase their own ski ticket. We strongly recommend buying tickets early to take advantage of current deals, as prices are often lower in advance. https://www.jfbb.com/plan-your-trip/lift-access/tickets.aspx
Ski and snowboard rentals, as well as group lessons, can be purchased directly from Jack Frost using the link above.
Jack Frost lift tickets are valid for night skiing at Big Boulder on the same day, so plan on skiing at Big Boulder in the evening.
We will be staying in a heated cabin at Camp Acahela, which is just a short drive to the mountain.
Cost: $30 per person for the weekend.
Provided: Lodging, Light breakfast at the cabin on both mornings.
Bring: Money to buy lunch at Jack Frost and dinner at Big Boulder.

FYI: Mr. Evans, Mr. Williams and Mr. Kozielec are all Ski/Snow Sports Merit Badge counselors, so this will be a great weekend to earn the Snow Sports MB!
